Writing a strategy for using IT in teaching/learning

Aims - what?, why?, align it with the mission
Objectives  - what are the deliverable goals, when -write  a plan for 3(?) years, review annually
Project list - what is necessary, what is desirable, what can be done
Agents - who does what, resources, support, staff development

Managing projects introducing IT into teaching/learning

  1. review relevant uses of IT & learning
  2. analyze needs of students & staff
  3. develop a plan to implement and evaluate
  4. implement it, supporting staff and students as necessary
  5. evaluate its effectiveness
  6. reflect and report, spread good practice
  7. revise for next time
