

| This is a professional
development programme for staff who teach or support learners in universities
and colleges. It awards the
Certificate
in Teaching and Learning with
Technology of the University
of Keele (60 credits at masters level), and also the
Professional Development award in
Embedding Learning Technology
from the national Staff and
Educational Development Association
(SEDA). The programme takes up to 18
months, part time, January to July, and has
six one-day workshops at Keele plus online work. It includes
support for each participant to
develop their use of technology
in their own teaching or support for
learners.

Aspects
of e-Learning is a
shorter course consisting of some of
the workshops and demonstrating some
of the learning outcomes of the Certificate programme, for 30 M
level credits. The module awards the SEDA Professional Development award in Exploring Learning
Technologies. The
programme takes about months, part time, January to July. Both of these programmes are about curriculum development and the appropriate uses of technology in learning, teaching and assessment. They will not train participants in particular packages. They will give experience of a range of packages and applications of technology in education, and a framework in which to design the use of technology. Contact for further information:
